Zamil Steel Construction Company has been awarded a full turnkey contract by Almutlaq Real Estate Investment Company for the construction of a new mixed-use commercial project (The Move Project). It features luxury leisure facilities, entertainment and fine dining, located at Nakheel Corniche, Jubail, in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
The contract signing ceremony was held at the Almutlaq Real Estate Investment Company’s headquarters in Riyadh, presided over by Abdulrahman Ibrahim Abaalkhail, CEO of Almutlaq Real Estate Investment Company, and Mohammed Al Sahib, Vice President, Zamil Industrial Investment Co.

One of the challenges is to carry out the construction works without harming the ambience of the nearby waterfront, and since the project site is by the sea, the high water table increases its complexity, requiring adequate dewatering and shoring on all sides. Consequently, the entire structure, including the pedestrian bridge, will be constructed on concrete piles <i class=”icon-quote-right icon-32″></i> said Mohammed Al Sahib.
